The piece is Fur Elise by Beethoven
Yes, this picture is taken by ME.
So don't say "Ah, that's ~sugitafuyuki's! Copyright violation!"
I'm particularly fond of this picture, so you'll have to burn in hell if you steal it.
Yes. It's kind of like the violin, except slightly different strings. If you play a stringed instrument, you'll probably learn really fast.
I hope you find a teacher! There's a couple over here...it's just not as popular as violin. (Sad, because I think the cello is very beautiful sounding.)
It's true that the violin is popular, but the locale isn't interested in that...I mean, if you want to play the guitar, anyone can be your teacher, but if you want to learn the violin, you have to dig deeper.
I guess I really have to get out of the country to learn the instrument.
Guitar, oh man, almost everyone in my orchestra class plays that, or is learning, or has played it, has learned it, has a guitar, an acoustic, can play paramour, can play mary had a little lamb, blahblahbalh.
There's only four cellos, and uh, like 40-something violins and violas. :/ (in my class, D8) Cello is very fun to play, I really recommend it! <3
D: I hope you get out of your country and get more opportunities. I don't think a lot of our violinists can play fur elise on violin, so you should be proud. ^^
And orchestra class? Not to sound like a snobby person, but the majority of my class is not very cool. They don't appreciate the fine arts very much. I'm just hoping next year when I go into a different school everyone in orchestra would actually really, really like music.

I want to play the cello, but I doubt I can find a teacher in the locale...
Thanks!

Gah...I hate the locale. There's so little opportunities. And my dad doesn't want me to leave the country, but I want to, real bad.
In my entire school, there are only two violinists, and I doubt anyone has even seen a real cello. DX
